We design, manufacture and install bespoke fitted furniture across the whole home: fitted wardrobes in hinged, sliding and walk-in configurations, plus fitted bedroom furniture, kitchens, home offices, media walls, home bar units, wall panelling, window seats, under-stair storage and loft storage. Everything is made to measure at our Wembley workshop — we hold no standard sizes and no stock.

The final cost depends on the wardrobe design you choose, the range and interior fittings you'd like, and the quantity of furniture required for your room. As a guide, a fully fitted bedroom is priced from around £2,000, although this will vary according to the range, the interior options selected and the size of the installation.

Completely free, with no obligation and no deposit. A senior designer visits your home, takes precise measurements, discusses how you use the room, brings full-size door and finish samples to view in your own light, and produces a 3D visualisation — often during the same visit. You leave with an itemised written quotation to consider in your own time.

Yes — and our showroom and our factory are in the same building, in Wembley (HA9 0LB). Displays and full-size door samples at the front; the Felder beam saw, CNC machining centre and finishing bays that will actually make your furniture at the back.

That combination is unusual and worth understanding. Most fitted-furniture showrooms are retail units with nothing behind them — the furniture is ordered in from a third-party factory, frequently overseas. Ours is made on site by the same team you meet. If you want to see how a carcass is built, or how a five-coat hand-painted finish is applied, before you commit anything, you can.

Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm— call ahead so a designer is free to spend proper time with you. Most clients still begin with a free home design visit, because a finish that looks warm under our lights can read cold on a north-facing wall.

Standard fitted wardrobes are manufactured and installed within 21 days of design sign-off, with fitting taking one to three days on site. Larger commissions take longer: allow 8 to 12 weeks for walk-in dressing rooms, 12 to 18 weeks for a complete fitted bedroom, and 14 to 22 weeks for a bespoke kitchen. Your designer confirms the timeline with your quotation.

We cover all London boroughs and roughly a 40-mile radius of our Wembley workshop (HA9 0LB), which takes in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire and parts of Essex and Kent. Send us your postcode and we'll confirm the same day. Because we manufacture and fit in-house rather than through a dealer network, coverage is limited by travel from Wembley.

Yes. Everything is manufactured at our own Wembley workshop on a Felder beam saw and CNC machining centre, and installed by fitters employed directly by Metro rather than subcontracted. That matters for two reasons: the person who measured your room is accountable for the result, and if anything needs attention there is one point of contact rather than a dispute between supplier and fitter.

Ten years, parts and labour, on everything we design, manufacture and install — carcasses, doors, painted finishes, hinges, drawer runners and door alignment. Blum hinge and runner mechanisms carry their own separate manufacturer warranty on top. We keep your full specification on file indefinitely, including exact paint mixes, so later additions match precisely.

Yes — and you have two ways to do it. Your designer brings full-size door samples across all 15 styles and swatches from over 100 painted finishes to your home, or you can see the full library at our Wembley showroom. Seeing a finish in your own room's light matters more than most people expect.

For storage, almost always. Fitted furniture runs floor to ceiling and wall to wall, works around chimney breasts, sloping ceilings and bay returns, and leaves no gaps — typically yielding around 30% more usable storage than freestanding pieces in the same footprint. Freestanding wins on one point only: you take it with you when you move. Fitted joinery stays as a fixture.
